International magnet: Koreans and others fly expectant mothers to give birth in the U.S. Their children will be able to avoid Korean military service. Terrorist sympathizers can enter to give birth, many invade through Mexico. Hundreds of thousands wait around the world with their birth certificates to re-enter the U.S. 21 years later when the child can apply for legal residency for the parents. They are deciding future immigration policy, not Congress or the American people. Estimates: Approximately one-third of illegal aliens collect some form of welfare. Women Infants and Children program increased 25% from ‘96-‘02. California has 12% of the nation's population but 32% of the welfare recipients.
The result of low education skills:
Illegal aliens can be paid up to 18 years in welfare checks for the anchor child in a child-only Cal-WORKS case, while federal regulation allows a five year maximum for children of law abiding citizens. California schools have gone from being in the top five in the nation in the 1980's to the bottom five today. California has the highest adult illiteracy rate per population of any state in the nation. For the predominant group here unlawfully, 61% of Latino surnamed students do not graduate from the Los Angeles Unified School District. Births to those here illegally: Approximately half of all births in Los Angeles County, 65% at Los Angeles County General Hospital, and 70% of all births at San Joaquin General Hospital. Sixty percent of the birth certificates in San Diego County do not have a parent's SSN. Now 10% of all births in the U.S. are to illegal aliens, about 385,000 annually. In California, between 20- 25% of all births every year are to illegal aliens, or about 300 births per day, one baby born to an illegal alien every five minutes in California. "California’s Undocumented Latino Immigrants: A report on Access to Health Care Services” pg. 38: 90% of illegal migrants lack non-government medical insurance. One third of the estimated 10 million uninsured children are Latino. (You the taxpayer pay their medical bills while billions in remittances annually are sent out of the country.) Teenage births have risen dramatically along with illegal entry: From a NY Times Editorial referencing information from the Center for Disease Control: The official California 2008 birth statistics show of the total Latino births, 51.6% are to unwed mothers. Latino mothers giving birth represent 72% of the state's total of teenage births. For the Statistics show that teenage pregnancy produces high school dropouts, increases the chances of the offspring dropping out, earning less, using welfare, belonging to a gang, and males who dropout are eight times more likely to be incarcerated. This Third World birth rate puts us on the fast track to unstoppable family breakdown and an exploding, expanding permanent underclass in the United States. Amy Hinojosa, a Latina activist working on this problem stated "To say we are in a crisis is an understatement." |
